Now if you change a setting in a pmp app (pre-post action) trigger the publishing sync a new alert is send, would only want an alert with new version/update. Not when modifying the app settings.

Modifying being items such as custom right-click options right? So you would only want a Teams/Email alert(s) for newly product proudcts and opt-out of any update action to an already published app/update?
