Glimpse is an open source image editor based on the GNU Image Manipulation Program 2.10.18. The goal is to experiment with new ideas and expand the use of free/libre software.
I've been using Glimpse for 3 months already and am completely satisfied with it. However, it has some problems with resizing the images from small to big. I understand that you shouldn't expect that the quality of image will remain the same, however the quality becomes significantly worse. I've used another simple image resizer and it honestly showed better results regarding this issue. Anyway, I like the idea of the free software and the fact that these guys experiment with their product to find the best solutions.
