There should be an option to prune old .log files that are generated by the Manage installation logging feature.
This is available in build 1.9.9.3.
There is a new option in the 'Advanced' tab to set the Scriptrunner log retention days. It defaults to 28 days. After the update is applied all logs older than X days will be deleted. The count of removed logs is logged out in the Scriptrunner log.
This feature will be applied to all new updates / apps published. It will not retroactively set this existing updates or applications, as a new version of Scriptrunner needs to be added to the package.
