It is used for all Lenovo Thinkpads (works on thinkcentres as well) to update drivers, manage power settings, etc.
It replaces "Lenovo Vantage Enterprise" which is being sunsetted. It also was not as easy to deploy, "Commercial Vantage" seems to be more stable.
This application only appears to be available in the .appx format. At this time, we support deployment of apps in .EXE, .MSI, or .MSP formats only.

It's available in the Microsoft Store. That's how I deploy it now.

currently it is pretty easy to get the Lenovo Commercial Vantage into Intune.
What do you need? The package itself from: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/hf003321-lenovo-vantage-for-enterprise
Download the package and extract it completely within a temporary folder.
Pack that folder then via the IntuneWinAppUtil.exe into a IntuneWin file e.g.:
./IntuneWinAppUtil.exe -c C:\Temp\Input -s VantageInstaller.exe -o C:\Temp\Output

You will get something with VantageInstaller.intunewin
Upload that to Intune
Set the parameters for install like:
./VantageInstaller.exe Install -Vantage
or
./VantageInstaller.exe Install -Vantage -Suhelper
when the command line tool is also needed for own scheduled task
For uninstall use
./VantageInstaller.exe Uninstall -Vantage
or
./VantageInstaller.exe Uninstall -Vantage -Suhelper
After that Vantage get's update via the Windows Store backend automatically.

I would like to see this as well because the Microsoft Store app has an issue where if you don't open the app and allow it system access first, it does not function. Additionally it requires admin permissions to be able to finish installing as well. We are being forced to deploy it as a Win32 app rather than a store app.
Yes, we need it to take data from devices.
This would be a nice updated option, as you already have the legacy Lenovo System Update Ptoduct available.

Yes! That would be very handy to Have. The Deployment Maintenance is a bit tricky and time consuming directly from Intune & Lenovo Vantage Commercial is a must app for us to have it deployed and maintained in regular basis.
Adding Commercial Vantage to Patch My PC would definitely be a massive help!
