Hopefully I can explain this without confusion.


For Updates (not ConfigMgr Apps), it would be great to have a Delay option.

  • Delay release by Version - 1 (in other words. only deploy the n-1 version of whatever's latest)

  • Delay release by Published Date + 30 days


Example:

Chrome 96.0.0.2 is released on 3/31/2021

Chrome 96.0.1.1 is released on 5/15/2021

96.0.0.2 is the only version released via Software Updates until the release after 96.0.1.1


Example 2:

Firefox 88.0 is released on 5/1/2021

Firefox 88.0.3 is released on 5/15/2021

88.0 is the only published on 6/1/2021 (release date + 30 days)

88.0.3 is the only published on 6/15/2021 (release date + 30 days)
