Patch My PC Feature and Application Request

Flexera Flexnet Publisher

We see that Flexera Flexnet Publisher is rising on the security list for Defender For Endpoint. But it is not simple to make sure these are patched.

Any thoughts on this from PMPC how to make sure it can be patched?

Can you please provide further details including the Download URL, Previous Version Download URL, Release Notes Page, and Silent Install Switches (If Known). Assume we (Patch My PC) know nothing about the application being requested. Without the details previously mentioned it will be difficult to move forward with your request.

If the download is not publicly available (behind a paywall or login) then your best bet is using our Custom Apps feature. If we do not have access to the installation files then we will be unable to fulfill your request as we require them for testing installs, uninstalls and detection methods.

+1 for the standard version that is also bundled with autodesk products… i know its also built into others products but this will be already a great start

When I looked into this when it started rising in the Security Center it looks like it's just baked into quite a few apps. I don't know if y'all would be able to patch it because of that. Would be amazing if you could because vendors won't update it or node.js versions.

This application is baked into "HP Print License Service" for us so this might be quite a tricky one to manage. Would be great though to be able to patch it to secure devices.

Serveral Programs can use Flexera to manage their licenses.

If someone can provide a link to the installer directly from the publisher / vendor themselves, we can take a look at this.

Challenge is that I actually do not know. the link you sent Adam is fro Autodesk, but I assume they only USE the Flexnet Publisher from Flexera... so it is not 100% certain this is possible without interfering too much with specific applications using this...

Do you have a link to the installer, vendor page and release notes etc? Is it this: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/search-result/caas/downloads/content/autodesk-network-license-manager-for-windows.html
