I see we have at least 1 mention of this product failing on a lot of devices. Do others have similar experiences? From what I can tell, this install fails specifically when running via a ConfigMgr update. ConfigMgr Apps, and Intune Apps and Updates work correctly.
I was working on another application with a similar issue and I believe there may be a check in the Nvidia installer that is checking to see if Windows Updates are running at the time of install. Of course since the installer is running via Windows Updates, it will always return true then fail.
Seeing this fail across lots of devices. Despite if I run the command that is configured for the patch it runs okay. Is this due to GeForce being open? Can we add some logic to close it to the script runner?
Finally had a chance to look at this, and it seems doable. Not sure if we'll make it only available as an update or allow it as a base install as well, as it will only install on devices with NVIDIA GPUs and we do not have a way to check that sort of requirement for app installs at the moment.

We do have a feature to provide notifications to users asking them to close software if needed processes are detected, kindly see this document: https://patchmypc.com/manage-conflicting-processes-when-updating-third-party-applications#UpdateInProgress

Not yet, but we are still planning on looking at it this month (09/2021).
Hey Andrew,
Have you managed to take a look at this one yet?
We need to take a deeper look at this product before committing to it. I'm hoping we'll be able to look at it next month.
Any update on this? It went from Planned to Noted.
