Because we are working in a high secure environment, we need to deploy a specific update version of a product which was tested and proved for our systems. It's not an option to just deploy the latest version.
For example: We need to have on our clients a specific version (e.g. 8.5) deployed because of compatibility reasons with our backend system. Currently there is a new main version 10.x available and downloaded and because of supersedence, version 8.5 was automatically deleted from my file system and is no longer available in our SCCM deployment package.
So, we need to “freeze” a specific version and make sure to make it available as long as this update is member of a deployment group.
It would also be also nice to have a list of different versions where you can select for deployment and not only the latest version. For Mozilla Firefox I can see a list of different versions but other products (e.g. Tenable Nessus Agent) it only shows the latest version.
Hi Wolfgang,
Those screenshots are from ConfigMgr, not Patch My PC. It looks like you need to reconfigure your supersedence settings on your SUP if you want to stop expiring superseded updates and keep them deployed.
I think this feature request is not for Patch My PC, it seems to be a configuration issue or misunderstanding in ConfigMgr.
Hi Adam
We see in fact different editions and also versions on Mozilla Firefox (even expired ones) as you can see at the attached screenshots.
Thanks
Wolfgang

A feature a colleague in Engineering is working on is the ability to pause publishing of a new update/app for x many days/weeks/months, I'm going to merge this request with that as it sounds similar.
We currently can not publish any version of a software other than the latest version.
You can not select multiple Firefox versions, however you can select multiple Firefox editions (not versions) which have their own version lifecycle - hence why this is possible for products like Firefox and not Nessus.
