They fixed it based on my feedback! We should be able to add this app with their next release!

For now. I actually submitted an issue for this today in the hopes that they will add it in their next build. I will mark it as a future consideration and watch the github issue: https://github.com/gephi/gephi/issues/2575

I took a quick look at this app, and unfortunately, it doesn't seem like they put the version number in the registry when they register the product
