Acrobat DC includes Reader DC. We would appreciate having the Reader DC install detect itself as already installed if Acrobat DC is also installed.
Here is an example of a requirements script that can be used for this purpose:

Unfortunately changing this behaviour would have negative impact for customers that prefer their app installation statuses to be tracked separately. A better approach may be to add a requirements script so that Reader will not try to install if set as a required deployment and full Acrobat is already present.
Patches for each variant of Acrobat should only be deployed to the relevant versions already.
