I would really like to open the Scan ConfigMgr DB window and query what's in my DB while also being able to choose updates in Publishing Settings. I can then check on what versions are inventoried and apply that knowledge to the update selections. Export only gives a count, not versions. Currently I have to close the Scan windows to go back to the Publishing Settings window.
I can't have the Scan DB window open and do anything else in the Publisher. It would be helpful to have that Scan DB window open independently so I can analyze the use of apps and control the settings in the Updates tab of the Publisher without having to close the Scan window. Being able to select apps in the Scan window and have that be reflected in Publisher is helpful, but a minimal feature.

The checkboxes in the scan wizard represent what you already have selected. Additionally, you can check and uncheck items in the scan wizard.
Does that solve the issue here? Or is there still more of a need?
