It's a powerful (programmer's) editor and freeware. We have over 7.500 installation of the application. Would be great, if we could update with PMPC.
If you add the applications, maybe you can consider about the update check.
To disable it only works (as I know) with an ini file in the user profile (UpdateCheck = 0)
