This version of Adobe Acrobat Pro can work as both reader mode or pro. Once a user with a pro license signings into this app it converts to pro. Alternatively, we can add a postscript to modify the registry to make it reader mode by default.

Here is some additional information to configure Acrobat Pro x64 to allow usage in Reader mode when unlicensed:

The default install parameters we apply are:
/sAll /rs
If using the Adobe customisation wizard to create an MST, you can enable the 'Suppress sign-in in Acrobat' checkbox. The MST can be uploaded as an additional file with the Acrobat Pro x64 application, and you can append this to the command line to use the MST with the EXE installer:
/MSI TRANSFORMS=AcroPro.mst
Alternatively you can just set this registry key via a post-install script:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\FeatureLockDown]
"bIsSCReducedModeEnforcedEx"=dword:0000001
Acrobat Pro 'unified' is just the regular Acrobat Pro x64 installer - which was always supported as an update option in our catalog, but is now also supported as a base install app.
However, to get it to fall back to Reader mode when unlicensed, you either need to add an MST or an additional reg key to the installation. We can look at getting a KB together to show how to do this.
Please add an installer and updates for this. Adobe is the biggest security risk where I work and having support for the unified installer would make our life so much easier.
This will be a huge help for use as well as the current solution with the continuous version and then upgrading to pro is not intuitive to tech illiterate users. I hope Patch My PC adds the Acrobat Pro installer soon.
We use the continuous version which is already in PMP. It defaults to reader, once a user with a subscription signs in, it will prompt to upgrade. The upgrade feature seems finicky but it does work.
Having this available in Patch My PC will solve one of our biggest headaches. Please make it happen!
A solution for this would be useful. I would like an installer for both Acrobat Pro 64bit
