eParaksts is your personal signature for electronic documents, as well as a tool to prove your identity in digital environment.
Documents signed with eParaksts have the same legal effect as hard copies of documents signed by hand.
A document signed with eParaksts tools is binding not only for its user, but for any third party, and it ensures the verification of its user’s identity in the digital environment as provided by an identity document in person.
The eParaksts is currently maintained and provided by VAS Latvijas Valsts radio un televīzijas centrs (State Joint Stock Company Latvian State Radio and Television Centre) which is the only provider of trusted services in Latvia.
