BTW there is an issue with this that we need to add to known issues - older versions (most likely all 1.x but I only had a few old versions to test) did not create an Uninstall key (where add/remove programs looks). Since this is where our Intune applicability scripts look, Intune updates will only apply to those that do create an entry (likely to be all 2.x releases).

WSUS updates have more flexibility in detection rules as we use the SDP format defined by Microsoft, so we can check the Autodesk registry to detect 1.x versions there.

New Features

• Autodesk Access now gives admins the option to allow users without installation permissions on their devices to self-install updates. Reliance on admins can be reduced with users able to get up-to-date software through Access.

• A new registry key is provided to enable the new self-install option.

• Resolved a crash that occurred when starting an Access update install while an external install is already running.
