FortiClient EMS is an extended version of FortiClient VPN, offering additional features such as telemetry, web filtering, antivirus, patching and more. However, the current version of FortiClient VPN is not suitable for integration with FortiClient EMS through Intune. Despite having compatible versions and likely a fully compatible CLI, there is a discrepancy in file size and hash (It should also be noted that the hash can change due to different configuration options of the installation package generated from the administrative console).

This would be a nice addition that would simplify updates. In addition, in my opinion it would not be more complex than the forticlient vpn only
