This is more for the Config Manager application creation rather than Software Updates feature but it would be nice to add in Start Menu cleanup in the same fashion as the desktop shortcut removal.
We like to keep our start menu neat and tidy and for example VLC Player adds a lot of stuff we'd like to remove - apart from the application shortcut of course. See attached screenshot.
Ideally everything other than the app shortcut itself would be removed including the parent folder.
Currently we do this with a custom post script but having to do this for each app is adding overhead meaning using this isn't a value add versus our usual manual package creation with psAppDeploy.
