Certain packages may require a reboot during installation, and it would be great to have a way to resume these, as discussed in the 6 Dec 2023 webinar. The package should continue running in the system context. This would make the packaging process for these use cases significantly more seamless.
The vendor can only do so much with their.tools. When your requesting this type of action to run as a system account after reboot, you're asking to open doors to other programs to run under system context as well. For security puposed, it is best to use the council that your deploying the install with to check a registry key or anything to verify that the first install took place after reboot and it'll verify this before running the next install process.
