Currently the search field allow to search device name, user name, software name. Would be nice to allow more values to be search, example like serial number of monitor.
We added monitors (make, model, serialnumber) to the global search function in 2.5.1, but then fixed it in 2.5.2 for customers who were having issues with search if they did not have our custom inventory extensions enabled and deployed.
What other search parameters would you like to search?
Being able to add additional columns, especially including the S/N of monitor attached to Windows device, would be very useful when downloading a list to a spreadsheet. Tying monitor ownership to specific users can be challenging. This would make the process much easier. Thank you for your consideration. ~k
