Request to provide report of products not enabled but required on devices

The objective is to determine which supported products are required for devices but not currently set as enabled products on a periodic basis. While the Auto-Publishing Rules is available, there are a number of products which we would want to review with application owners and not automatically update. Therefore getting a report via the Query and Export to CSV is a better solution. Here are 2 potential solutions.

1. Patch My PC report via SSRS that lists products not enabled but required on devices.

2. Automate Query and Export to CSV to allow it to send to an e-mail address.

I was about to submit a request to automate the Query/Export list but I'll piggy back here and just say that on a weekly basis I go through some manual steps so we can see what is new and decide what action to take. These are my steps from the Publisher that I do on the updates and configmgr apps tabs:

    1. Clear the limiting collection

    2. Set count to 0 & Check off "Include already enabled products"

    3. Click Query, then Click Export to CSV

    4. Answer no to "only export products which match the filter"

    5. Append something to the filename related to the tab it was generated from

    6. Compare the new CSV to the prior week's to get my Delta list to review.

Not every app that gets added to the catalog that shows a count will end up being automated and like the original poster, we need to be able to review it. Automating steps 1-5 would be great if PMPC could schedule an export or if someone was willing to share a SQL query and we could build our own automation around the data. (I directly query SCCM a lot vs using reports).

Just want to mention, I do get the PMPC Publishing Report in email but those don't contain the count and are only for enabled products.
