Hi team,
At the moment, there's PowerShell 7.2 LTS and PowerShell Core in my catalogue, which at time of writing for the latter is 7.4.2.
I can see 7.5 is released in preview, so assume at some point 7.5 will be released under 'PowerShell Core'.
I would like to move my fleet to 7.4.x from 7.2.x, my sec team requested we stick to LTS branches and remove any instance of the preview/core/'unstable' branches from our devices.
I could achieve this at the moment by changing from 7.2 LTS -> PowerShell Core, but I don't want to have it update to 7.5 when that makes its way into the 'PowerShell Core' banner.
Could I request the following logic:
* PowerShell 7.2 LTS: latest 7.2.x (for customers who need to stay on this version)
* PowerShell 7.4 LTS: latest 7.4.x
* PowerShell Core: I leave the decision to you for this version in this application.
Thank you.
Thank you, Jason and everyone else who worked on this. Much appreciated.
Good News! PowerShell 7.4 LTS has been added to the catalog as of yesterday - https://patchmypc.com/patch-my-pc-catalog-update-09-10-24
I would also like to see PowerShell 7.4 LTS published alongside PowerShell 7.2 LTS as a separate product. Especially because PowerShell 7.2 LTS will be end-of-life this November: PowerShell end-of-support dates
