Normally, log files are stored in a Logs folder therefore making it easy to share that folder to others. Having the PatchMyPC.log default location to the Patch My PC Publishing Service folder with all the other files is not the best place in my opinion.
May I suggest an addition to this? For Intune Standalone implementations, the suggested default location for logs could be a subfolder \PatchMyPCLogs in %ProgramData%\Microsoft\IntuneManagementExtension\Logs as this path and its contents are collected when Device Diagnostics log collection is triggered on an Intune managed device.
