We heard this feedback from a few customers over on the Slack/Discord SCCM group.
We will look at reusing the installer that was downloading for software update publishing when creating an application. Today, the installer would be downloaded for the software update then deleted after publishing, and it would be redownloaded during the same sync schedule if the same product is enabled as an application.
