By default, the portableapps folder is auto created and defaults to Desktop. This folder should only be created if needed because a portable app is selected and downloaded.
We should also be able to set the folder drive letter and path if we don't want the folder on the desktop.
We plan to add this in an upcoming release!
Yep. The current behavior is a terrible experience. I have to change the setting to relocate that folder on every install, because I don't use PortableApps and don't want clutter on my Desktop. Please fix this!
