Some applications will return 3010 or 1617 for soft and hard reboot. Even if the deployment behavior is suppressing reboot, a soft reboot may still be triggered giving the user a reboot countdown. This can be completely suppressed via Client Settings; however, there are instances where we will need some applications to force a reboot and others do not matter. It would be great to have an option in the Patch My PC Publishing service applications Options to customize the return code behavior. E.g.,; map 3010 to Success (No reboot). This can be done in the application in the SCCM console after the the application is published; however, to leverage the automation of patches being pushed from the Patch My PC to the Published application automatically, it would be great if this could set in the Patch My PC Publishing Service directly.

Why isn't this a thing already? If we add a custom return code in Intune, will the auto-publish of a new release clone the exit code that was added?
This would helpful since sometimes a 3010 is returned even though the change needed will have no bearing on the PC's functioning if the reboot is postponed until "whenever."
yes please, would be nice with this option
Needed function absolutely!
Absolutely agree!
