There is no way to manage conflicting processes for macOS apps. Some apps will fail to install if there is a conflicting process on macOS too

It should be noted here that with Intune we cannot include additional files or specify the install command line. This eliminates our ability to create a wrapper (ScriptRunner) like we do for Windows updates and fill gaps that exist in Intune.
There may be other solutions, and we'll continue to consider how to accomplish this, but until Intune supports this ability, we may not be able to deliver it.
