It would be nice if, when setting up an application with a custom command line or pre/post install scripts, we had an option to carry those settings over to the update packages as well.
We have instances where we deployed an application with a custom command line, and that works great. However, when PMPC turned on the update for that product (we have logic that says if you find one version of a product, patch it), the update installer did not include the custom command line, and those settings were wiped out. We had to go back in and copy the settings over to the update.
We have changed our process to ensure we account for both the Base Application and Update Application, but it would be nice to have an option to copy those settings across by default.
