Right now R for windows is in PMPC but with only one entry rather than offering the option to stay on the latest revision of a major release.
I would like to be able to only deploy the latest version of 4.4.X and not have it auto update to 4.5.X or 5.X.X, similar to some other apps in PMPC (Sketchup, Python, etc.)
Thank you!

Actually ignore my last message it does happen to minor ones. Its when it goes from 4.4 to 4.5 but it doesn't happen when its 4.44-4.45 for instance. In this case 4.5 is the major version
Looking at the release history, they have never issued an update to previous major/minor releases (i.e. when 4.6 comes out, 4.5 is effectively on longer supported/updated), and they tend to churn through 2 or 3 minor release bumps per year.

Only when it goes from 4-5 etc. the minor ones are fine
The problem is when they release a new major version it breaks a lot of people's code. In our org its used heavily
Kind regards

we desperately need this as we have a lot of problems with code updates and having to package Rtools matching version
