Can the naming convention appended to republished updates be changed from the format "- (January 18, 2020)" to something like "- (PMP 20.01.18, 22:34)"? This would be more granular and allow more than one republish a day for custom script tweaking.
This feature shipped today in preview 1.6.4.1. In addition to the improved naming seen below, we will also supersede and previously republished updates if you choose yes to supersede previous updates. Before this build, we would only supersede the main update from the catalog and not any republished updates.
Hey Sean, I think we will make the title for republished look like this: %Title% - (Republished on Month Day, Year at 8:00 AM). We will also review if we can supersede any previously republished updates as well.
We can look into this change. Also, you can publish more than one time during the same day the update title would just be the same (Although this isn't great, so I think something like the convention you mentioned would be better).
