My organization is heavily regulated and must place strict controls on internet traffic to secure network zones (such as the one that the SUP lives in). Download URLs for app and update content must be individually allowed to pass through the firewall.
It's an entirely self-inflicted problem but I'm sure that I'm not the only customer in this situation.
It would be really neat if PMPC provided a sort of reverse proxy service for content downloads so that we could whitelist something like "HTTPS://appdownloads.patchmypc.com/*" instead of needing to unblock the individual URL for each application that we want to distribute and update.
My organization is the same, as is many others I have worked for. This would be a great selling point for the product.
