In our environment we handle Government workloads, and as such, need to sanitize hostnames, IP addresses, usernames, etc, from any logs that leave the environment. So while gathering the logs are usually simple, it is sanitizing them that takes a significant amount of time and effort on our part (which usually makes it not worth doing, depending on the issue).
