The Templates feature is useful - Update Rings can be configured too. However, the Update Ring Start Time (Delayed vs Immediate) cannot be configured within Templates.
That means the Start Time needs to be configured after the Template is applied.
By default, the Immediate option is selected after the Template is applied. Additionally, once the Template is applied, the "Deploy" button becomes available, and any Admins unfamiliar with the Portal might forget to set it to "Delayed"
