Description:
We are considering adding a Startup Manager feature to Patch My PC Home Updater and would love your feedback!
The idea would be to give you an easy way to see and control what runs automatically when your PC starts.
This could include:
Applications that auto-start from the Windows Registry
Scheduled tasks that launch at startup
Windows Services set to run automatically
Programs placed in the Windows Startup folder
With this feature, you could quickly view, enable, disable, or delete startup items — helping keep your computer running fast and clutter-free.
What We Are Thinking:
A new Startup section inside Home Updater.
Simple view of what is set to run at startup.
Ability to turn things off or remove them easily.
Keep it clean and easy to use, just like the rest of Home Updater.
Why We Think It Would Help:
Give you more control over your PC startup process.
Help improve system speed and performance.
Reduce background clutter from apps and services you may not need running all the time.
✅ If this sounds useful, please vote for this idea!
The more interest we see, the more we can prioritize it.
