LibreHardwareMonitor (OpenHardwareMonitor Fork)

LibreHardwareMonitor is an actively maintained and modern fork of the now-stagnant OpenHardwareMonitor. It provides accurate hardware telemetry including CPU/GPU temperatures, voltages, fan speeds, and sensor data for modern Intel and AMD platforms.

This tool would benefit IT admins, diagnostics teams, and power users needing reliable, local hardware monitoring in environments where alternatives like HWiNFO are either not license-compliant for business use or not patchable via PMPC.

Adding LibreHardwareMonitor would fill a gap in the catalog: CPU-Z is already available, but lacks detailed sensor visibility and logging. LibreHardwareMonitor is lightweight, open-source (MIT license), silent-deployable, and CLI-friendly.

This app does not currently offer an EXE or MSI installer and appears to be a zip file that simply extracts a set of files. We are unable to add this app as it does not include an uninstall registry key (ARP entry) which we use for detection (including a DisplayName and Version number). A possible workaround would be to repackage the app into a MSI and add as a Custom App.
