Currently, Intune allows administrators to define Additional Requirement Rules as part of an application’s installation criteria (e.g., verifying the existence of a specific file, registry key, etc.). This ensures that the app only installs when certain system conditions are met, which helps prevent failed or unnecessary deployments.
However, Patch My PC (Cloud version) does not offer support for these requirement rules. There are scenarios where this capability would be extremely useful. For example, I manage an Outlook add-on that should only install if Outlook.exe is present on the device. Without additional requirement rules, I cannot prevent the add-on from attempting to install on systems without Outlook, leading to avoidable failures.
Please consider adding support for defining Additional Requirement Rules in the Patch My PC Cloud portal, aligning it more closely with native Intune functionality and improving deployment precision.
