Today, you use radio buttons for architecture choice, x64 or Any. Arm64 support is going to give us 3 potential architectures to manage. Also, some app manufacturers are using universal installers where the installer is the same across any architecture and the installer picks the correct one to install.
It would be nice to have check boxes instead of a radio selection. We can select the architectures we want for a given app, the desired outcome let's say. From our user perspective, we don't need to know if the app manufacturer has released 3 installers or 1 installer.
PatchMyPC should manage all of this on the back-end and deliver our desired and specified outcome. Whether you package and push 1, 2, or 3 packages into Intune, I would want to leave that to you to figure out. I don't want to have to manage or know that App A has separate installer packages, so I need to publish this twice, once for x64 and once for arm64, but App B has a universal installer so I only need to do it once. Obviously, the architecture filters would need to be set correctly on everything you publish into Intune so the different machine types get (or see in Company Portal) only what they should get or see.
