Dell should have rebranded version 5.5 as a different product than version 5.4, but they didn't.

Essentially, for any organizations utilizing PMPC, when version 5.4 upgrades to version 5.5 via the normal software upgrade process, the software actually provides less functionality on a wide array of modern Dell systems that are not supported in version 5.5
