Unit4 have a number of cloud services/products, for which some still require a local client install for full functionality. The Unit4 "FP&A Designer" is one of those functions that has a local client install and is guaranteed an update every 3 months, with hotfixes in between. The backend cloud environment will update automatically on their schedule, which breaks the local client install until you manually download and apply the latest update.
It would be amazing if you could approach this company and help bring them in to the 21st century of automated client updates! With your expert help, at a minimum we would then at least be able to use PatchMyPC and Intune to automate the process for them.
