User Defer option in conflicting Processes

I've had a look at the ideas & feedback page but couldn't find anything on my issue.

We're trying to implement the conflicting process to allow users to defer for 3 times with varying results.

Setting the "Notify the user to close the application" timeout to 30 minutes as a test.

Activated the "Allow the user to defer the installation" to "Up to 3 times"

Intune synchronisation is 8 hours.

We expect the snooze button to appear once the initial sync takes place, which it does & shows 30 minutes time countdown.

Selecting the snooze button closes/minimises the Conflicting Processes window.

This window never pops up again.

Eventually the App installs without any prompting.

The Intune assignment availability for the App with the user defer policy is set to ASAP.

Even after clicking on the snooze button & restarting the device after 40 minutes to force another sync with Intune still doesn't prompt the Conflicting Processes window popping up.

We figured if we set the defer for up to 3 times, the prompt with the snooze option would show 2 times & then install.
