Update deployment Requirements script add wildcard

We have use cases to update the DisplayName of apps in the registry for reporting purposes where we add some extra information to the DisplayName. For update deployments the requirement script has a section to check if the displayName of each app is like the inputted application name which is great if the app has the original name.

Would it be possible that the script is changed to add wildcards to the match like variable $z to have wildcards "*$z*" this would match if there has been a pre/post information added to the name
