Add a built‑in capability in Patch My PC Advanced Insights (and/or Cloud Reporting) to collect and report folder-level disk usage from managed Windows endpoints — e.g., Desktop, Documents, Downloads, and full user profile directories — without requiring any additional agent installation.
We often struggle to understand how disk space is consumed at the user‑folder level across thousands of devices. Common use cases include:
Identifying users consuming excessive disk space before storage issues escalate
Planning OneDrive/Folder Redirection migrations by knowing actual profile sizes
Troubleshooting low‑disk‑space tickets faster with actionable insights
Prioritizing devices needing cleanup or larger storage during hardware refresh cycles
Today, this requires custom scripts, custom inventory extension, and building custom reports — a barrier for many admins. Native support in Advanced Insights would make this both efficient and consistent across environments.
