switch for only installing stable versions of apps in setup

I don't like to install versions of apps that are not released as stable, but for some apps i got the message for an update even if it is not released as stable. (e.g. Notepad++, signal)

By default, we only ship stable versions of applications. We specifically reject Beta or preview releases. For Notepad++, I can see that there could be some ambiguity, but from our understanding, they just have a slow rollout for their auto-update (they are not releasing a build as pre-release then another build when they roll out to auto-update), even so, we make those releases available as soon as they are on the website, as they are not beta or preview releases especially because those releases typically have vulnerability releases that many customers are looking to get immediately.

I'd be happy to have further discussion on this, but at this time we believe we are typically not shipping pre-release builds and preferring stable versions in general.
