Patch My PC Publisher allows customers to control how ScriptRunner handles MSI and MSP installations that run longer than expected.
In Publisher, customers can enable a ScriptRunner-enforced MSI/MSP installation timeout. When enabled, ScriptRunner can abort MSI/MSP installations that exceed the configured time limit. Publisher currently supports a default value of 30 minutes, with a configurable range of 30 to 120 minutes.
If the setting is disabled, ScriptRunner does not enforce its own timeout and the normal platform timeout behavior applies.
Patch My PC Cloud does not currently expose an equivalent configuration option for Cloud-created deployments.
SolidWorks Installation fails for me too after 30 Minutes, its an exe wrapper for the MSIs but still gets "aborted due to timeout"
My install of Bloomberg Terminal always fails due to this. It takes a long time for this ~2GB installer to run. Interestingly enough it is an exe, not an MSI.
