On May 14th 2026 a new major version from PDF-XChange is released. But until now, it's not implemented in PMPC

We are experiencing the same issue on our side. The new version is not yet covered in PMPC, so the PDF-XChange updater is trying to install the update automatically. As this requires admin permissions, it is generating multiple support tickets
The new version is not covered in PMPC, and as such the PDF-Xchange updater is trying to perform the update. It requires Admin Permissions to execute and it is generating multiple support tickets and unhappy clients. Please fix ASAP :)
