    Patch My PC does not support portable applications at this time because they do not create reliable detection points. Portable apps typically run from a folder without installing anything into the system, which means they do not generate an Add/Remove Programs (ARP) entry or any consistent registry footprint. Without an ARP entry, there is no dependable way to detect the application's presence or version, making automated patching unsupported.
