When creating or editing a Deployment Template (Settings → Templates), the App Info section of the template only shows Vendor, Owner, Notes, and Developer, the Description field is missing entirely from the template configuration screen.
This is a gap when there is a need to use the same Description for different apps:
It does not allow to standardize a custom, user-facing description across many apps by setting it once in a shared Deployment Template, rather than manually re-entering it on every individual deployment.
The Notes field is not a workaround, as it maps to an admin-only Intune property and is never shown to end users in Company Portal.
