They have a Managed App and a Self Service App. The Managed App is basically completely silent -- as it installs the applications configured within it. That does mean distributing/deploying the applications. Users still have to login when they run the installed applications.
Apologies looks like you're correct, even if you get the full content '.exe' installer from the CDN it still requires Adobe CC login and cannot be made completely silent despite use of the '--silent' switch.
Would you instead be able to offer a similar experience to the TeamViewer MSI updates/installs whereby we can create an update or SCCM App in PMP by dropping the MSI generated by the Adobe Admin Console into the PMP 'Local Content Repository' location? I know for sure this MSI installer can be made completely silent as this is what we have used in the past for forced updates.
We have not been able to find a silent install option for the creative cloud app on that site. Please let us know if there is a silent install option for that app.
Going to bump this one as it would be useful in our Media business enterprise use case. The Creative Cloud Desktop App itself is a component separate of the CC suite of apps and is a publicly available download from: https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/download/creative-cloud
Because the CC desktop app built-in auto-updater mechanism is flakey (it only seems to work reliably if a user is logged in to Windows and signed in to the app) it would be great if we could forcefully update the app using PatchMyPC. Please note we already update the CC suite apps themselves separately with RUM using a script but sadly that does not update the CC desktop app itself (because Adobe reasons) and we frequently see it get left behind on vulnerable versions in our Tenable security reports.
