this could be very usefull at least for mission critic updates in a vpn connected environment for instance any network/security/vpn related app maybe based on https://deploymentresearch.com/detecting-wired-wireless-and-vpn-connections-using-powershell/

    this in connection with pmpc user toast style notifications so the user can take action accordingly if he using the vpn connection at that moment... to still install/update the app or not
