Dragon Medical One Standalone is a dictation and transcription application for healthcare.
Documentation on it is here, however it has other components in it as well that aren't relevant to the app.
Complexity of the install is that the app has a lot of configuration options that are mandatory. They can be passed through a config file or in the install cmd. I created a custom script that is fed params instead of keeping a static config file somewhere, also the installer by default doesn't create a desktop shortcut so added that as well. This allows to reconfigure with a single modification of the install string in the deployment type.
It's signed MSI and allows for system wide silent installation. Had to create a script for it to put the shortcut on the public desktop, otherwise it only puts it in the Start Menu only.
Unfortunately the vendor doesn't provide release notes on demand and keeps them on some separate pages.
This would be a pretty good value add for us healthcare folks.
I found that the release notes are actually available on the community forums behind a login.
