BankID - Swedish Electronic ID

Saw that this has been added to the catalogue which is great. I tried it out today, having an older version installed (7.15.100.6), however it seems to not be able to upgrade this one since it's searching for BankID s*kerhetsprogram even though the app has the DisplayName "BankID Security Application" in the registry.

Could this be adjusted so that it checks both for the Swedish name + the English name?

Unfortunately it seems they still use that same product code and also upgrade code.

Could it still be solved some other way? Perhaps using the Product Version? It also logs this value to HKLM\Software\BankD\BankID Security Application\Version.

Marking this idea as a "Future consideration". The vendor never changes the product code between releases.
Our detection scripts only check the product code to verify if the app is installed. Due to the vendor never changing the product code, if you were to deploy version 2.x and you would have 1.x installed, the deployment would be marked as "Already installed".

We are in the process of improving our detection scripts. This app is going to be revisited once that is done.

Is anyone aware of any page which shows what the latest version is? We need such a page to monitor it, in order for us to be notified whenever a newer version is released.

Would be really appreciated if this single MSI file would be available in your catalogue.

We have many thousands of users and since it's a security concern to not keep this updated and takes manual approach it would be really helpful.

Would be really great if you can package this one for the Swedish market!
